BrandMessageLab started in Villa de Vallecas, a Madrid neighbourhood that has never needed anyone else's permission to have an opinion. We wrote our first briefs for local shops and clinics that couldn't afford a full agency retainer — and the work travelled faster than we expected.
We still write the way we did in that first office: with duende, the untranslatable Spanish idea that the best work has soul in it, not just correct grammar. A headline should make someone feel something before it makes them click something.
That doesn't mean guessing. Every campaign gets tested, measured, and rewritten if it isn't earning its place — duende with discipline, not duende instead of it.
Today the studio is still small on purpose — senior writers only, working from Madrid and collaborating with teams across Spain and beyond.
